Tsenat Werku

Tsenat is A+ Roots & Shoots active member ( Camp sefer roots & Shoots Club, Buno Bedele, Oromia, Ethiopia) who made excellent Home gardening with fruit trees, vegetables and wild fruits conserved in the demonstrations center. He applied what he practiced in the AGAFI resources center.

A 13-year-old 4th-grade student at Janmeda Primary School, Tsenat has a natural talent for electronics and engineering. His enthusiasm for digging led to the construction of a 1-meter deep and 2-meter-wide waste disposal site at the AGAFI - MCRC/Roots & Shoots compound. His curiosity often results in dismantling and fixing electronic devices, bringing excitement to the group. Tsenat also assists his mother, a social worker, by selling injera and fruit to help support his family. Within the club, he plays a key role in leading awareness campaigns and applying his gardening knowledge at home.
