On February 06, 2025, AGAFI joined EPA - Ethiopian Environment Protection Authority in the most important discussion embarking on a pragmatic collaboration with Ethiopian CSOs involving in Environment Protection and Awareness, Climate Change, Pollution, Waste management and related prevention and mitigation works.
This was part of EPA's collaboration with various civil society organisations and identification their environmental focus areas. CSOs made presentations on their main engagement and priorities to work with EPA. Action points and follow-up engagement discussed agreeing to work on cooperation framework within a month where the CSOs will assign program staff with government experts.
