One of the most immdiate program of AGAFI is Empowering community ( Economical and Right based ), particularly at the grassroot level where much attention and services are not availble. To allivait such burning issue we have designed a Project with the objectives includes; Increase Awareness through Improvement of
understanding of economic rights and labor regulations among marginalized
communities, Advocate for Better Working Conditions engaging with private
sector stakeholders to promote fair wages and improved labor conditions
and Foster Economic Empowerment with provision
of entrepreneurial training and job
skills development to create sustainable livelihoods. AGAFI will deploy appropriate Human and Material resources to implement
the project and deliver as intended. The project emphasizes local capacity
building, community ownership, and policy advocacy to ensure lasting impact
beyond the project’s duration. Women, who experience heightened economic
vulnerabilities, will benefit from tailored entrepreneurial training and
advocacy for gender-inclusive economic practices. This intervention aims to
bridge wage gaps and enhance their participation in the workforce. Similarly,
youth facing barriers to fair employment will receive job skills training and
support for entrepreneurial ventures, addressing their specific challenges and
improving their economic prospects. We have designed the project which adresses the challenges faced
by Women, Youth, People with low income and People with disability, prioritized
most vulnerable integrating the provision of awareness on gender equality,
protection and community cohesion.
